This Week Hawaii

Oahu, also known as The Gathering Place, is the hub of government, military and commerce. It's a busy bee of an island with Waikiki as visitor central and its many nearby shopping, dining and activities opportunities. Outlying areas are yours to explore offering a more relaxed environment such as the wild and laid back North Shore, the close-knit community of Kailua, growing Kapolei on the west side, and other neighborhoods. Rent a car or join a tour to see what's out there!

This Week Hawaii

The Valley Isle of Maui has been rated one of the world's top islands for many years and you'll soon discover why. Not as busy as Oahu and definitely not as laid back as Kauai, Maui is just right! Leisurely drive the two-lane road to Hana where delights abound along the way. Take the high road to Upcountry where many Made on Maui products are produced. And, of course, catching the sunrise (or sunset!) at Haleakala National Park is a must. Remember! As of February 1, reservations are required to view the sunrise.

This Week Hawaii

Hawaii Island, or as locals call it, the Big Island, offers experiences from summit to sea. Visit the highest point of the island at Mauna Kea sitting at 13,796 feet in elevation. Not only is it home to observatories from around the world, it is also a place that carries cultural significance to the Hawaiian people. At sea level, experience the excitement of earth-in-the-making at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where lava enters the Pacific Ocean.
