West Hawaii Band presents: "March Delights"

The West Hawai’i County band, a 20 piece wind band comprised of community members announces the Free Friday concert of 2017. 

This concert will include classical music such as Handel’s An Occasional Suite, traditional marches including The Diplomat by Sousa and tunes from the Broadway musical Man of La Mancha.  The band pleased to welcome Bernaldo Evangalista back to the podium.

The West Hawai’i County Band is a community and civic band comprised of approximately 20 musicians from all walks of life. The band is supported in part by the County of Hawai’i Parks and Recreation Department. The band rehearses weekly and performs regular monthly concerts. In addition the band can be heard at parades and civic events in the community throughout the year.

The repertoire of the band includes march favorites, traditional brass band music, big band tunes and Hawai’ian traditional tunes.
