Dirty Heads in Concert

November 17, 2018

After two decades spent chiseling their unique, multigenre infused sound, Dirty Heads have finally come into their own.

Since the release of their 2008 debut, Any Port in a Storm, the five-piece band—Jared Watson, vocals; Dustin "Duddy B" Bushnell, vocals/guitar; Jon Olazabal, percussion; Matt Ochoa, drums; and David Foral, bass—have consistently experimented with their sunny style, leaning heavily on reggae fused with hip-hop cornerstones and scaling back for more acoustic fare, darting between extremes.

The signature single, “Lay Me Down,” achieved an RIAA gold certification and clinched #1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart for 11 weeks—a record run for that year. 2014 saw Sound of Changedebut at #8 on the Billboard Top 200, garner acclaim from the likes of Esquire, and vault “My Sweet Summer” to the top of Alternative Radio.

More recently, 2016’s self-titled Dirty Heads went Top 15 on the Top 200 and spawned the smash, “That’s All I Need,” which racked up over 10.5 million Spotify streams and counting. The band’s sixth and most recent album, Swim Team, represents Dirty Heads at their most dynamic, diverse, and definitive. Simultaneously, they remain one of the world’s most engaging and exhilarating live acts, selling out venues coast to coast.

Tickets: $25, $35, VIP $55 (plus fees)

Show starts 7 p.m.; gates open 6 p.m.
