Stop by and "talk story" with kapa maker Dalani Tanahy during the Kaluanui Centennial Festival & Family Day at Hui No'eau! Dalani will talk about the art of kapa—a cloth made from the pounded bark of the wauke plant. You'll also get to see a bit of the complex process that goes into making these lovely pieces of natural Hawaiian cloth.
Hui No'eau's Art with Aloha Program is supported in part by the Hawai'i Tourism Authority.
