Saturday, December 3. Come view the Honolulu City lights 2022. The city will have their 50′ holiday tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 pm at Honolulu Hale. The Electric Light Parade will start at 6pm from Aala Park down King Street ending at Honolulu Hale at 6 pm. This year’s 38th Annual City Lights will showcase a wreath contest exhibit in the Lane Gallery, photos with Santa starting at 5pm, food trucks, entertainment and Santa’s village will all be at the block party for everyone to enjoy!
There is lots of photo opportunities to enjoy the lights, holiday decor on the lawn! Opening night block party food vendors include: Agnes’ Portugese Bake Shop, Da Hub/Kealoah Seafoods, Da Mochi Guys, Dick’s Lechon, El Gallo, Island’s Finest Shave Ice, Leeward Drive Inn, Linaka’s Catering, Noni To Go, Olya’s Thai Food Express, Steak Farm, TRIDIS, Waimanalo Country Farms, and Zack’s Event Catering will be on hand for everyone to savor! Entertainment by Corssing Rain, Ei Nei, Nesian N.I.N.E. and Sean Na’auao and Friends will be performing throughout the evening!
The Honolulu City Lights Are FREE
Parking is free at the Frank F Fasi Municipal lot with entry from the left lane on Beretania Street past Alapai Street.
Opening night ceremony will be broadcast live on tv. Olelo Channel 53 at 6pm.
Honolulu City Lights will be open daily from 8am – 10pm on the Frank F. Fasi Civic Center Grounds after the opening night ceremony December 3 – 31, 2022. The outside displays will remain lit and on display all night from 6pm till 6am in the morning.
