“Pun Prix ’23 – Petal to the Metal” is Punahou’s Theme for this years 2023 Carnival!

Everyone goes for the amazing Malasadas, Teri Burgers, Fried Noodles, Gyros, Portuguese Bean Soup, Taco Salad or Hawaiian Plate to name a few. E.K. Fernandez Rides are back but are limited to mostly kiddie rides including: Magic Maze, Balloon Race, Helicopters, Speedway, Air Show, Jungle Twist, Carousel, Dizzy Dragon, SuperSlide and Lolli Swings. The E.K. Fernandez Fun Pass will not be accepted, but all attendees must use Punahou script to ride.
Punahou’s White Elephant has tons of books, toys, clothing, and houseware if you are looking for a deal! Their famous Mango Chutney and Lilikoi Butter are at the Jams and Jellies booth (Go early if you want to take one home.) The Seniors Variety Show, “Bread” is an all star cast of 2023 students that have written and choreographed all the dance routines! Show times are 2/3 at 1pm and 5pm, and 2/4 at 1pm and 5pm. Bread Tickets. Stop by The Farmers Market for the best local fruits and vegetables along with plants and flowers to take home.
The Silent Auction is online here: Punahou Silent Auction with cool finds on show tickets, jewelry, and spa rejuvinatation treatments and lots more! Bids opens Wednesday, Feb. 1 at noon and closes on Saturday, Feb 4 at 4pm. Make sure to make your register before hand at above link. All items will be shown at the Kirsch Gallery during carnival.
All script will be accepted at food booths, specialty booths, rides, Midway and Kiddie Land games. (Maximum Height requirements for some rides so check before you get in line) Carnival is cashless this year! All major credit cards including Apple Pay, Google Pay accepted. Debit cards will require a PIN.
Parking on campus is limited so you best bet is to check surrounding streets and organizations in the area. Wilder Ave has parking on Friday, but watch the Tow Away Zone signs. You need to move your cars from 6:30-8:30am and 2:30-5:30pm or you will get towed! Parking is allowed all day Saturday!

Maryknoll High School
Maryknoll High School will offer parking Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Cash only, $30 all day; $10 for 4 hours (and then $10 any increment after). No in and out access allowed.
Maryknoll School: Elementary School Campus
Maryknoll Elementary School will offer parking Friday from 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. The cost is $15 for up to 4 hours. On Saturday, parking is available from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. The cost is $15 for up to 4 hours or $50 for all day parking.
Central Union Church
Parking Info: Carnival parking will be available at Central Union Church (1660 S. Beretania Street) on Friday, February 3, from 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Saturday February 4, from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. Cost is $10 per vehicle entrance (can stay parked the whole day). No in and out access. Drivers should enter via Punahou Street and purchase a ticket, then the parking attendant will direct the driver to a spot. For parking updates, check the Central Union Church of Honolulu Facebook page on February 3 and 4. Note: Face masks should be worn on Central Union Church campus. Vehicles may stay parked shortly after the carnival closes, but there will be no parking attendant or security on campus after 10 p.m. Funds raised will go toward a service project by the youth of Central Union Church.
Shriners Hospital for Children
There are 3 tiers available to fit your needs: 1) One time entry, 2) Unlimited In and Out, and 3) A RESERVED spot with “in and out” privileges. Our reserved area is Mauka / Diamond Head-most corner of the Shriners Children’s Hawaii hospital to minimize your walking. The lot is paved, lighted, fenced, and monitored by the Aloha Shriners.

Catholic Charities – Ching Campus
Located at the corner of Keeaumoku Street and Nehoa Street, Catholic Charities will offer parking for $10 per vehicle. Parking Hours for Friday are 4:30 – 11 p.m. The parking lot will be open on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Central Union Church, Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children, Lutheran Church of Honolulu, Maryknoll High School, Maryknoll Grade School, Parish of St. Clement and Shriners Hospital for Children. If you can’t have someone drop you off, UBER, Lyft or TheBus are great options!
Lutheran Church of Honolulu
Parking will be available on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. A $15 donation is collected for parking upon entry. No in and out privileges. Cash only. Donations will support the LCH youth trip to the ELCA National Youth Gathering and will also support music programs at LCH.
