The Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association has been around since 1974 and has become a statewide event held on the same day across the islands of Hawaii. The Kauai Charity Walk has been the largest single-day fundraiser to help numerous non-profit Kauai agencies. All of the money collected on Kauai stays in Kauai to directly benefit their agencies.
