Koloa Plantation Festival is held where Hawai‘i’s first sugar plantation was founded in 1835, this 10-day community celebration features a lively, family-oriented slate of events showcasing the area’s rich history and diverse multicultural traditions. Saturday, July 22 – Keiki Fishing at Waita Reservoir at 1 – 4pm
Free Event! Just bring your own bait and poles. Enjoy some relaxing time with keiki trying your luck “catching and releasing” big mouth bass, tilapia and peacock bass. Space is limited so reservations are required. Meet at Kauai ATV (3477 A Weliweli Road, Old Koloa Town) for check in information and directions. This is Kauai’s largest collection of restaurants and retailers coming together to have Kauai’s family-friendly pau hana party. Lots of live entertainment, plantation treats and delicacies and a varite of alcoholic and non=alcoholic refreshments!

The Family Fun Run has four different course lengths for you to choose from as you soak up the beautiful ocean view on Kauai’s South Shore. Prizes, race jerseys, food and drinks, along with free mini massages will be available to all participants. Awards will be given for 1st through 3rd place for each race course as well as for the winners in each age group division. Special awards will be given to all youth 12 years and under who participate!
