UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED—NEW DATE TBA
Calling all ocean enthusiasts! The Waikiki Community Center (WCC) will host the 35th Annual Duke Kahanamoku Beach Challenge and benefit event on Sunday, April 26 from 9am – 130pm. Head down to the Duke Kahanamoku Beach and Lagoon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort to join visitors and local community for a thrilling day of outrigger canoe and stand-up paddle board races and a beach volleyball tournament.
All funds raised from team sponsorships will allow the Waikiki Community center to continue to lend a helping hand to keiki (children), kupuna (senior adults), visitors and people in need throughout the Waikiki community. Last year, WCC provided tuition assistance for preschool aged children from low-income working families, food for over 1,800 families and individuals in need and programs help over 19,000 senior adults and community members maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
