Polynesian Cultural Center takes guests on an interactive tour of multiple Pacific cultures through eight villages and exhibits, plus enjoy hands-on fun with its “Go Native” program. Delve into the lifestyle skills and performing arts of Samoa, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti and Hawaii. Taste Tahitian coconut bread, try Tongan ta nafa (drumming), gaze at the six-story Fijian temple, twirl poi balls, paddle and outrigger canoe and dance Hawaiian hula. And that’s not all! Many of the stores have longstanding ties to Laie, the North Shore and Polynesia, and offer distinctive items not available at any other visitor attraction or shopping center in Hawaii. Parking is free and there’s no admission just for the marketplace.
